I had knee replacement with Dr. Callander six weeks ago, and I'm walking without pain and without a cane! The procedure was done perfectly, my recovery was manageable, and Novato Hospital was great! The staff was attentive, and - get this - the food was great! Truly! After waking up from morning surgery I was brought chicken breast in cream sauce, rice and a lot of spinach, all of which I gratefully inhaled. The hospital experience was excellent. I was there two nights. Most of all, though, Dr. Callander was terrific. Explained everything, did a great job and my knee has no pain for the first time in 3-4 years. Highly recommend. Very professional staff assists him in getting all of the details right prior and after. If you're worried about the outcome, Dr. Callander would be my choice again.
